On April 24, 2022 Arsen Avagyan, along with the diplomatic staff of the Armenian Embassy attended the Armenian Rite dedicated to the 107th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide held in St. Sarkis Cathedral in Tehran.

On April 24, 2022 Arsen Avagyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran, along with the diplomatic staff of the Armenian Embassy attended the Armenian Rite dedicated to the 107th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide held in St. Sarkis Cathedral in Tehran.

Following the church ceremony, the participants laid flowers to the monument of victims of 1915 Armenian Genocide.

In the evening of the same day a tribute event was held in “Ararat” Armenian complex to honor the 107th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The keynote speaker was Ashot Melkonyan, Academician and Director of the Institute of History of National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.

Arsen Avagyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Armenia, also made a speech at the mentioned event.
