On July 29, 2022 Arsen Avagyan, Ambassador of the R. of Armenia to the I.R. of Iran met with Zeinolabedin Khorram, Governor of the East Azerbaijan province.

In this meeting the interlocutors discussed about activation of economic and trade ties and increase in the volume of   trade exchange between Armenia and Iran, pointing out the existence of potentails to achieve to one million dollars’ exchange.

In this regard the Armenian Ambassador stressed the development of interactions in various fields between Syunik province located in the south of Armenia and the E. Azerbaijan province of the I.R. of Iran, two adjacent provinces.
