MOU inked between IPIS and Orbeli

In order to expand ties between “Institute for Political & International Studies” of Foreign Ministry of the I. R of Iran (IPIS) and “Public Relations & Information Center” staff of Prime Minister of the R. of Armenia (Orbeli) on Aug. 22 , a Memorandum of Understanding was signed on-line between two centers. Directors of both centers were present at the event.

Gor Tsarukyan, director of Orbeli in his speech noted the importance of cooperation and relation with the neighboring countries and the role of research and analytical centers in this regard. Mohammad Hasan Sheikholeslami in his speech on this occasion underlined the cooperation and role of the activities and experts of the two advanced research centers in sketching the vision for political developments and relevant decision makings.

Signing these types of documents enables the centers to put their ties and cooperation on more legal basis and paves the way for future cooperations. Given the geopolitical and regional crucial condition accordingly the sides concluded to expand their relations and by holding mutual conferences, research activities, experts’ sessions and bilateral visits.
