Mayor of Armenian Armavir city and its district , David Khudatyan, heading a delegation from the municipality paid a working visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran from Nov.1-5,2022.

Mayor of Armenian   Armavir city and its district , David Khudatyan, heading a delegation from the municipality   paid a working visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran from Nov.1-5,2022. The Armenian delegation headed to Kerman and upon arrival was received by Mayor of the city, Shaerbaf Tabrizi.

David Khudatyan along with the delegation had meetings with Governor of Kerman province, Mr.  Mohammad Mehdi Fadakar , Mayor Mr. Shaerbaf, and the officials in “Kerman Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture”. During the meetings the sides discussed issues pertaining the possibilities and capabilities of two cities in order to boost the cooperation and to have their share in bilateral relations of two countries particularly in business and trade exchange . The main areas of negotiations were industry, agriculture, tourism and academic cooperation between two cities.

During their stay in kerman the Armenian delegation visited some industrial centers, Kerman University and UNESCO world heritage sites as well.

A Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation between two cities and naming of Armavir and Kerman as “Sister Cities” was inked by two Mayors.
