Tigran Khachatryan, Minister of Finance of the R. of Armenia paid an official visit to the I.R. of Iran on 7-9 Nov.

During his stay in Tehran the Armenian Minister had meetings with Masoud Mir Kazemi, Vice president and Head of the Plan & Budget Organization, Ehsan Khandouzi, Minister of Economic Affairs & Finance and Seyyed Reza Fatemi Amin, Minister of Industry, Mining &Trade.

In the meeting the officials from both sides discussed the ways and capabilities of both countries in order to develop more ties and cooperation in various fields, they emphasized the need to increase the volume of bilateral trade up to three billion dollars, as well as expand and facilitate banking ties, barter trade, Economic Free Zones, cooperation in North-South transit route between the two sides.
