Armenian Deputy Economy Minister met with Iranian private business sector

On March 6, Narek Teryan, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, met with representatives of 16 private companies of the commercial and economic sphere of the Islamic Republic of Iran. A number of ministry officials participated in the meeting as well.

During the meeting possibilities for cooperation in various fields were discussed, in particular, agriculture, livestock breeding, processing of slaughterhouse by-products, fodder production, industry, equipment construction, road construction and other areas.

The opportunities provided by the free trade agreement signed by the EAEU with the Islamic Republic of Iran in December 2023 were outlined in particular.
