Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Diplomatic School of Armenia and the Institute for Political and International Studies of Iran

On September 11th, a meeting was held between Ambassador Vahe Gabrielyan, Director of the Diplomatic School of the MFA of the Republic of Armenia and Dr. Mohammad Hassan Sheikholeslami, Deputy Foreign Minister and President of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) of the MFA of the Islamic Republic of Iran. A ceremony of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions of diplomatic training took place. The sides discussed issues related to the perspectives of cooperation and the implementation of joint projects.

The meeting was also attended by Mr. Grigor Hakobyan, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Mr. Hayk Darbinyan, Acting Head of the Department of Bordering Countries, H.E. Mehdi Sobhani, Ambassador of Iran to Armenia, Mr. Farhad Koleini, former Iranian Ambassador to Armenia and Senior Research Fellow (IPIS) and Dr. Khalil Shirgholami, Deputy for Research and Studies (IPIS).
