Grigor Hakobyan met with the Iranian Armed Forces Deputy Chief of General Staff for international cooperation

Grigor Hakobyan, Armenian Ambassador to Iran, met with Brigadier General Mohammad Ahadi, the Iranian Armed Forces Deputy Chief of General Staff for international cooperation.

During the meeting, issues in the agenda of the bilateral multi-sectoral relations between Republic of Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as regional developments, were discussed.

Brigadier General Mohammad Ahadi congratulated Grigor Hakobyan on his appointment as the Armenian Ambassador and emphasized that within the framework of the policy of deepening relations with neighbors, the development of ties with Armenia is of particular importance for Iran.

The high-ranking Iranian military official has reaffirmed Tehran's clear and unchanging stance on the territorial integrity of Armenia.

Armenian Ambassador presented to the Iranian side the efforts of the Armenian government aimed at regional peace and stability, and noted that in this context, the further deepening of relations with neighboring and friendly Iran has its special place.
