Grigor Hakobyan, Armenian Ambassador to Iran, met with Iranian Minister of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) Seyed Sattar Hashemi.
During the meeting the sides discussed the possibilities of developing and deepening cooperation between the two countries in the fields of communications, information technologies and postal services, they touched upon opportunities for cooperation and exchange of experience within the framework of educational programs in the ICT sector as well.
The interlocutors emphasized the key geographical location of Armenia and Iran in terms of providing Internet connections between Asia and Europe. The importance of holding mutual visits and meetings was emphasized by both sides.
