Grigor Hakobyan, Armenian Ambassador to Iran met with Kamal Kharrazi, Advisor to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and the Head of the Strategic Council for Foreign Relations.

During the meeting, the prospects of Armenia-Iran relations, regional security issues, the opportunities for deepening bilateral cooperation, the importance of continuing dynamic political dialogue, as well as strengthening economic and infrastructural ties were discussed.

The high-ranking Iranian official reaffirmed the Islamic Republic of Iran's clear position of unconditionally respecting the territorial integrity and inviolability of the borders of the Republic of Armenia, emphasizing Tehran's readiness to establish peace and stability in the region.

The Armenian Ambassador presented to the interlocutor the issue of peace agenda of the Republic of Armenia and the relevant efforts aimed at establishing regional stability, reaffirming Yerevan's commitment for achieving regional peace through constructive dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation.
