Grigor Hakobyan visited Iranology Foundation

On April 26, Grigor Hakobyan, Armenian Ambassador to Iran, visited Iranology Foundation and met with Ali Akbar Salehi, the Foundation's President and former Foreign Minister.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current and active trend of bilateral relations between Armenia and Iran, expressed satisfaction with the progress made in recent years in various fields, including political, economic, cultural, scientific and educational. They also pointed to the potential for developing Iranology and Armenology studies in Armenia and Iran, emphasizing the importance of interactions and holding joint events in this regard.

The issues of the security and regional stability of the South Caucasus and recent international developments were underlined as well.
