The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia received the Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy of Iran

On July 30, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan received Hamid Ghanbari, Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy of Iran, who is in Yerevan on a working visit.

The interlocutors touched upon projects holding an important place in relations of a strategic nature between Armenia and Iran, particularly in the infrastructure sector, including energy and transport. The importance of the opportunities provided by the implementation of new connectivity projects was emphasized.

Regional developments were touched upon. Minister Mirzoyan emphasized that Armenia is closely monitoring the situation, highlighting the importance of establishing peace and efforts aimed at resolving existing issues.

During the discussion with Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan the issues on the Armenia-Iran agenda and the ongoing activities were also touched upon.

An exchange of views took place on other issues of mutual interest.
