Ambassador’s Visit to Qods Governate

On November 27, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to I.R. of Iran, Artashes Toumanian, along with a delegation had a visit to Qods Governate in Tehran where Mr. Ambassador had meetings with the Governor Ms. Leyla Vaseghi, the staff of the Governate, manufacturers, business people, authorities from Azad University and some officials from the region.

During the meeting parties discussed the non-centralized ways of cooperation between two countries, the possibilities to have cooperation with Qods as well in this regard.

Mr. Ambassador having received extensive information about economic potentialities of Qods, in his turn, delivered detailed information about the economic situation, the conditions for investment and business of Armenia, particularly the facilities created under the light of EEU-Iran preferential trade agreement.

While visiting Qods, Mr. Ambassador and the delegation visited some manufacturing and industrial centers in the fields of machinery, confectionary, construction and diary.
