Visit to Syunik

Gnel Sanosyan, Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure along with Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia paid a visit to Armenian Syunik province on January 20.

The first place visited was the construction project of 3^rd power transmission line in Noravan which is undertaken by an Iranian company. Later the road construction project in Tatev-Ltsen and Ltsen-Shamb was visited where the Armenian Minister informed the Iranian Ambassador on the related activities, the major section has been done and the road is open to drivers.

On the same day in Sisian city a conference was held about the infrastructure and construction projects to be done in Armenia ,Iranian companies were attending the event. Sanosyan in his speech stressing the importance of cooperation of Iranian companies in these projects noted the facilities the Armenian government is providing for Iranian companies in this regard. Areas of investment on dam building and energy were discussed in the event and the Iranian Ambassador was briefed on the legal procedures for registering companies in Armenia as well.
