Iranian humanitarian aid arrived in Armenia

The humanitarian aid offered from Iran for the population affected by the floods in the Lori province of the Republic of Armenia has arrived in Armenia, the batch was delivered to Alaverdi on June 7 by Iranian Red Crescent and the Armenian Red Cross teams.

In this regard a meeting was held in the center of the Armenian Red Cross Society with Bahram Taheri, Iranian Deputy Ambassador to Armenia, Mohammad Javad Alavi, political advisor, the representative of the Iranian Red Crescent and Davit Nersisyan, President of the Armenian Red Cross Society.

Davit Nersisyan, expressing gratitude to Iranian colleagues for their support, presented commemorative medals dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Red Crescent to the representatives of the Iranian Embassy in Armenia and the Red Crescent.

As reported by the Armenian Red Cross Society, the batch of humanitarian aid from Iran includes canned food, tents, bedding, dishes, sanitary kits, etc.
